Experience Lubaina Himid's work in these special times reserved just for you

This large-scale exhibition will debut recent works and showcase career highlights. The show takes inspiration from Himid's background in theatre design. The space will unveil a sequence of scenes and transport visitors to a stage setting.

Himid was a pivotal figure during the British black arts movement. She is the 2017 Turner Prize winner and has earned wide recognition for her figurative paintings. As of 2018, Himid holds the honorary title of CBE for contributions to the arts.
